Meet Miss Jani

I’ve always enjoyed having a hand in the educational process of children. Over the years, I have found it to be both rewarding and personally educational. It is definitely an opportunity that is worth one’s investment of time and energy. My knowledge of Early Childhood Education was first obtained from BYU but many opportunities to teach children over the years, including my own, have enhanced and broadened that experience. I am the mother of 4 marvelous children and 14 amazing grandchildren. As a parent and a grandparent, I am convinced that the power to teach children is within each of us. I suppose my personal "mantra" is a quote by Forest E. Witcraft : "A hundred years from now it will not matter what my bank account was, the sort of house I lived in, or the kind of car I drove. . . but the world may be different because I was important in the life of a child." I continue to learn almost daily from children — and I value that in my life.
